ThePwnZone is gonna be movin’!

Sup PwnStars, yeah I’ll admit it, I have been totally neglecting this site for the past month or 2. Sorry folks, been dealin’ with some issues about putting up ads and whatnot (totally can’t if using a wordpress.com domain) So i’ve decided to get ThePwnZone it’s own domain and we should be up and running by the first or second week of the new year. Also we have a shitload in store for you guys. Lately we have been planning a shitload of original material and sketches as well as a bunch of gear we’re gonna be slangin’. So keep tuned and prepare for the birth of the new PwnZone.

P.S. – I love you.

Q-Block – 3d Pixel Art Creation in Browser

Now this site is totally awesome, if you dig Minecraft at all you have to check out this page. It is created by Okuyama Kazuya, a Tokyo based freelance web developer.  Q-Block allows you to create 3d pixel art in browser. It is extremely intuitive and easy to use, it even allows users to edit other users images for collaborations. I’ve messed around with it for a while and have come up with some pretty cool stuff. This is definitely worth a peek.

Retrode

This gadget is cool as shit! For those of you hardcore retro gamers out there here is a device that will allow you to plug your actual SNES and Genesis cartridges to your computer for you to use in any emulator. This is for you people who like to play emulated games legally as well as get some use out of those dusty carts you got layin around. The Retrode also has plug-ins for about every major cartridge there is, such as GBA, and N64. This guy put alot of work into this and it shows, good work man.  For all you people who review retro games this would be a perfect addition to your collection. Check it.

PIQ

PIQ

Piq is a sweet pixel art creation website that I found recently. Their interface is awesome for browser based image creation and now they have the feature to save and edit images at any time. Though the new save function does not carry layer data over it still is very useful. The community on Piq is also very good. There seem to be about an average of 10-20 uploads a day of some real quality images. Considering that these people are working in browser and  on small amounts of time really says something of the caliber of talent that this website sees.  Also, there are weekly contests that have good subjects to push your creativity. So check it out, make an account, and start hammerin out those pixels!!

I’m m3k on there,  look me up!
